How we handle your data.
Plainly, and only as far as running this site and considering your application requires. This page sets out what we collect, why, and the control you keep over it.

Who we are
temu.studio is operated by Temu AG, a company registered in Zurich, Switzerland. Temu AG is the controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
For any question about this policy or your data, write to privacy@temu.studio.
What this policy covers
This policy covers the temu.studio website, your conversations with Aion, the AI avatar in the corner of each page, and the application you send for a spot. Aion's conversations and the application form are both handled by our client dashboard at dashboard.temu.swiss (the form is served from dashboard.temu.swiss/apply), and this policy covers them there too. It is written to meet the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (the revised FADP) and, for visitors in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Beyond that form, it does not cover the client dashboard at dashboard.temu.swiss, where selected clients take out their subscription and work with us on their project, or the Limen account that comes with each plan. Both have their own terms and privacy policy, which selected clients receive when they join. Nor does it cover the other sites we link to, including temu.swiss, Limen (translimen.io) and Mechane (mechane.io), each of which has its own.
The data we collect
Information you give us
If you apply for a spot, we collect what you enter in the application form: your name and email address; whether you apply for a company, and if so its name and your role there; how you heard of us; your current website, if you have one; your answers about what you are planning, how you like to work, your budget and when you want to start; and anything else you choose to tell us.
If you apply for a company, the form offers to look up its website. The company name is sent to Anthropic, whose AI model Claude searches the web for the most likely homepage, and the address found is sent to Cloudflare, which takes a screenshot of that public homepage. Your own name and email address are not sent. The website you confirm or enter is saved with your application.
While you fill in the form, your answers are kept in your browser's local storage on that device, so that a reload or a later visit continues where you left off. They stay there until the application is sent, and are then removed. Apart from the website lookup above, nothing you enter reaches us before you send the application; to remove the answers sooner, clear this browser's storage for dashboard.temu.swiss.
Conversations with Aion
If you write to Aion, the AI avatar in the corner of each page, your messages are sent to our client dashboard at dashboard.temu.swiss. It has them answered by Anthropic's AI model Claude and stores the conversation with Aion's answers. To keep the service fair and protected from abuse, it also keeps a random identifier your browser creates for this tab and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address; neither tells us who you are. Aion's answers are written by AI, can be wrong, and are not binding offers. Please do not share sensitive personal data in the chat. Even if you never write to Aion, each page asks the dashboard whether Aion is available here and which music the site offers; that request carries only the usual technical data described under the next heading.
If you ask Aion to pass your request to a person and give an email address or phone number, Aion writes a short summary of your request. It is saved with the conversation and sent by email to hello@temu.studio, so that someone from the team can reply. Nothing is sent to you automatically.
Information collected automatically
When you visit, our hosting and analytics providers process standard technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the approximate region you connect from. We use this to keep the site secure and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell data.
If Robin invites you to a call and you book it, our scheduling provider collects the details you enter to make the booking.
How we use your data, and our legal basis
We use your data only for the purposes below. Under the GDPR, each rests on a legal basis:
- To read and assess your application, decide whether we can offer you a spot, and write to you with the outcome. This is a step taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To answer your questions through Aion and, if you ask, to pass your request to a person who replies to you. This rests on your request and on our legitimate interest in answering visitors' questions; keeping the hashed identifiers that limit abuse rests on our legitimate interest in running the service securely.
- To arrange and hold a call, if Robin invites you to one, on the same pre-contractual basis.
- To keep the site available, secure and working. This is our legitimate interest in running it properly, and it helps us meet our legal obligations.
- To understand site usage through Google Analytics, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Under the revised FADP we process this data on equivalent grounds. Robin reads every application and makes every selection decision himself. We do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects for you. Aion's answers are written automatically, but they decide nothing about you: every decision on an application is Robin's.
International data transfers
Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States or the European Union. Where data leaves Switzerland or the EU, we rely on the safeguards the law provides for such transfers, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where they apply, adequacy decisions, so your data keeps a comparable level of protection.
How long we keep your data
We keep applications while we consider them and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you apply again or the conversation resumes, then delete them. If you are selected, what the work needs moves to the client dashboard, under its own terms and privacy policy. Analytics data is retained for a limited period by our analytics providers under their standard settings. Conversations with Aion, and requests passed on through it, are currently kept without a fixed end date while we settle on a retention period; this policy will name it once we have. You can ask us to delete your conversation at any time: tell us roughly when it took place. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see your rights below).
Your rights
At any time, you can:
- ask what data we hold about you, and get a copy;
- correct data that is wrong or out of date;
- ask us to delete your data, including a withdrawn application;
- ask us to restrict or stop certain processing;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- receive the data you gave us in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent to analytics, without affecting what came before.
To exercise any of these, write to privacy@temu.studio. We will respond within the time the law allows.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority: in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU, your local data protection authority.
Data security
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take measures proportionate to the data we hold, which is modest.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we will update this page and revise the date shown. We will make material changes clear. This policy was last updated on 18 October 2026.
